“Some of the staff are helpful, & I appreciate them. Today however I am disappointed in some of the staff’s decisions. Today I signed myself and my husband to the valentine day party. I also signed my caregiver and his fiancé up to that party. Because of the fact that my caregiver and his fiancé are not members of the wellbeing center. One of the staff members told me that outside of the Christmas party and thanksgiving party they are not allowed in the facility. In my opinion this is considered discrimination. A different staff member asked me if my caregiver and his fiancé were going to drive themselves to the Valentine’s Day party and before I could answer her a different staff person told me that except for Christmas and thanksgiving parties no one who is not a member is not allowed in the wellbeing center. So I asked a different staff member if I can give my caregiver and his fiancé a box lunch during the valentine day party and she responded that she needs to speak with a different staff member. I honestly think that I should be able to bring my caregiver and his fiancé a Valentine’s Day lunch at no charge due to the fact that my caregiver and my husband did a fundraiser to help the wellbeing centers activities. They sold 44 pies and delivered most of them accept for one because of a lack of communication between them. I hope that this problem can be solved asap. Signed, Disappointed and depressed at this situation”
“3 stars because for the most part, the staff are helpful and friendly. However, I do have issue with the way a CSS handled transferring my care to a different CSS. As far as I was told, the reasoning given for transferring me was because I was “hard to get a hold of”. For me, this reasoning sounds very blame-y and a bit rude. The CSS in question did have their calls returned, but I always got voicemail, even during their hours listed working. They missed just as many calls from me as I did from them. I think it would have been kinder to say due to issues with communication rather than insinuating it was all on me. I’m so, so tired of mental health professionals who can’t take accountability and want to push blame onto their patients. This experience has left me hesitant to take on the CSS that is taking over for my original one. If this is how it usually is from a small bought of missed calls, I’m not 100% I want to continue. I am out of town some days of the week. No, I don’t answer my phone when I’m out. I didn’t realize that was going to put my position with my CSS at jeopardy.”
“Compass health has made me feel so much better and more important than I used to be. Its been miracle that I am feeling this better in just the amount of months. I am feeling so much better slightly but there are those moments that I have, but other than that I'm really good and almost back to myself(:”
“I have spent a lot of time at the clubhouse and have always felt like I was in a safe environment. Everyone is working towards helping people. There is not a moment you can go with out learning something new at Harmony.”
