What patients say on Google

“I cannot say enough wonderful things about this location and the incredible team here. This is my second time receiving TMS treatment, with my first course being about seven years ago. Returning wasn’t an easy decision because TMS is a significant time commitment, but I can confidently say it has been worth every minute. Dr. Iqbal is an incredibly thoughtful, detail-oriented psychiatrist who truly individualizes care. There was a point during my treatment when I felt like my progress had plateaued. Rather than accepting that as the end result, she took the time to reassess my treatment, make thoughtful adjustments, and find solutions that helped me regain momentum in my recovery. That level of expertise, curiosity, and dedication made all the difference. The staff at this location are exceptional. Every person I interacted with was kind, attentive, and genuinely invested in my well-being. I especially want to recognize Nicole. On the days when I struggled to find the motivation to come in, I reminded myself that I would get to see Nicole. Her warmth, encouragement, and positivity always brought a smile to my face and made each visit feel a little easier. Those moments of kindness meant more than she probably realizes. As a psychiatric provider myself, I have been incredibly impressed by the care I received at this location. This experience has not only helped me personally, but it has also given me valuable insight that I will carry into my own practice. I look forward to recommending TMS to patients who may benefit from it because I have seen firsthand the difference that a knowledgeable, compassionate team can make. Today, I can honestly say I notice a significant difference in my overall mood. It feels like I can finally see the rainbow behind the clouds again. If you’re considering TMS and are unsure where to go, I wholeheartedly recommend this location. The treatment requires commitment, but with a team like this beside you, it is absolutely worth it.”

“Update: Changed from 1 stars to 2 stars because Greenbrook did (finally) rectify the situation with me, but it does not completely erase the stress and all of the other issues I had to go through. I am thankful that someone finally listened and actually helped fix the issue. I started Spravato treatment at Greenbrook earlier this year. I was nervous about insurance and billing from day one, and I brought it up more than once. I was told repeatedly not to worry, that I wouldn’t owe more than my copay, ever. That turned out not to be entirely true. I’m not being charged thousands by Greenbrook it turns out, BUT that’s not the point. I had legitimate questions and confusion about how billing worked, and no one could explain anything clearly. I got conflicting answers every time I asked. I was told I was in the rebate program. Then I was told I wasn’t. Then I got confusing letters from Johnson & Johnson that just made everything more stressful. I’d ask questions, and people would either disappear or pass me to someone else who also wouldn’t respond. My insurance would say one thing and Greenbrook would say another. Whether or not Greenbrook charges me $7000 or $800 is not the point of this review. It is the extremely poor communication by management and the dysfunction between departments. At one point I was told to just text someone with questions and then later told not to text. It became this endless loop of miscommunication and mixed signals. There were stretches where I had to bug the front desk staff daily just to get anyone in management to respond to me at all. On that note, I will say front desk staff and the staff I interacted with in person were fine enough. They just do what management is told, however when you tell management front desk said such and such they are just like "idk why they did that." I feel bad for some of the workers. I didn't want to bother them so much to ask them to get their boss to do their job. I missed treatments waiting for answers that never came. I was already feeling unstable from the medication itself, and the lack of support only made things worse. When I did finally get responses which were few and far between, it was always surface-level. “Sorry to hear that, I’ll check with billing or this other person” and then that person would pass me to someone else in an endless loop... followed by… nothing. Over and over again. Even now, months later, I still don’t have the breakdown I was promised. I still don’t fully understand the process. I still don’t feel like anyone has taken responsibility for the mess. Spravato is intense. You don’t end up here unless you’ve tried everything else. And when the system around it is this sloppy, disjointed, and unreliable, it’s not just frustrating, it's damaging. It made me feel worse, not better. I feel so incredibly weird about how I've been communicated to for such an important mental health treatment. No one has been outright mean to be but I do feel disrespected and disheartened by this. I honestly feel kind of insane at this point. I'm asking myself "am I in the wrong here" and "well they aren't charging you what insurance says they are so why are you upset?" But at the end of the day poor communication and not being taken seriously feels really weird and bad for mental health treatment that is this serious. I also feel kind of crazy because I sort of feel like an outlier. I have talked to a few people who have gone to Greenbrook and they haven't experienced this confusion. Maybe it's my fault for wanting everything very clearly explained. I don't think it is, but I hate having to write this so I'm naturally trying to convince myself that I shouldn't. But I really can't pretend that this kind of communication is okay here. It is not. I am contemplating trying Spravato again but now I don't know. I don't know if I should go elsewhere, which there aren't many options with insurance. Maybe my experience is a weird anomaly, I don't know. It's just so weird.”
