“This place is a joke. You’re expected to let your child walk all over you while they’re in their program. The therapist (Allison) my daughter had for a very short amount time seemed to think she knew more than anyone else, including my husband and I. Complete waste of time. When you refuse to do exactly what the “therapist” thinks your child needs to do she’ll just ignore your texts and never get back to you. They are not fit for kids with severe issues.”

“Is anyone in charge here or running this place? Phones are answered by non local call center, and if you are existing client, youre required to email Only using pt portal. But staff doesnt check those email communications often. And if you request to be contacted by manager or more specifically, amy tibbets, dont expect a response. This is very sad, 20 yrs ago, the Lilac Center didnt operate this way..”

“Tried a couple of times to find help here for my daughter. We met with Madison (I think that's her name) to discuss ways they could help. She said she would talk to her director and call us back and never did. When you are in the business of mental health, it seems like it would be important to not abandon people.”

“I went to this program needed help! Maybe I was nudge there by Jackson county. I chose this place on my own but forced to pick any place by Jackson county. I was not ok. I wasn’t ok for many more years than I thought. I entered into DBT therapy wanting help but expecting nothing. Medicated with 7 pills a day, here I sit a few year later not medicated living my best life. Jaimie has a way of teaching you that makes sense in your brain. We all think differently. We all absorb differently. She helped me through my lowest lows and my manic episodes. She let me work through this at my speed with all the tools I needed right in front me. This woman is literally a goddess in the mental health world. Susan at the front desk….i dont know where to begin. Walking though the doors and being treated by Susan is like walking into grandmas house (a healthy grandma), and knowing you are safe and will be taken care of. I hate talk therapy. It’s uncomfortable. This is a whole different experience and I never felt uncomfortable or that I didn’t belong. Thank you Lilac team for literally saving my life, improving me as partner, mom and employee!!”
